Sandy was born in Montgomery, Alabama. She has 4 sisters and 1 brother.

She is married to Wayne Prescott and has one son, JR and granddaughter Meghan. They live in Saragossa Community in Walker County.

Sandy attended Landmark Christian High School - 1976. Huntingdon College 1976-1978. UAB completed 1985. Obtained Long Term Care Administrator’s license 1985.

Sandy worked for the State of Alabama Mental Health System for 3 years, she has worked in long term care for 26 years. Sandy joined our community in 2002 when she started working at Haleyville Health & Rehab in 2002. She considers her work at HH&R a true blessing.

Sandy is a member of Haleyville Civitan Club.

Often times Sandy's work in our community is done behind the scenes as a real advocate for the betterment of our community and service to others.
